Sylvie Kandé s invited to read with Isabelle Balot (Belgium) at a weeklong festival at La Maison Française de NYU based on the literary prize Prix des Cinq Continents- Festival des Cinq Continents. 

Other speakers and artists include Momar Seck, Mamadou Mahmoud N'Dongo and Bassekou Kouyate/N'Goni Ba.

Sylvie Kandé is invited to speak on “Herstory: Global Women Poets”  at the Hanna Geldrich-Leffman Language, Literature, and Society Colloquium organized by the Loyola University Maryland Modern Languages and Literatures department. The two other speakers will be Alicia Partnoy (Loyola Marymount University) and Haihong Yang (University of Delaware).

Sylvie Kandé est invitée à parler sur "Herstory: Poètes femmes du monde" lors du colloque Langue, Littérature et Société Hanna Geldrich-Leffman organisé par le département des Langues et Littératures Modernes de l'Université Loyola Maryland. Les deux autres intervenants seront Alicia Partnoy (Université Loyola Marymount) et Haihong Yang (Université du Delaware).
